About the Role

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing, administering, and maintaining our server and network infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of IT services.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

Managing and administering network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, WiFi, and VPN access.

Management of cloud infrastructure, including servers, patching, user access, and backups.

Oversight and manage security systems, including email filters, endpoint protection, internet filtering, and advanced threat protection platforms.

Responsibility for Domain Controllers, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Manage and administer Office 365, including Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams Phone Systems.

Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, technologies, and protocols to protect the organisation's sensitive data and information systems from cyber threats, unauthorised access, and data breaches.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and security protocols, ensuring all changes are recorded accurately.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 3 years in a Systems Administration role focusing on infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).

In-depth knowledge of network and server management.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Experience with cloud services such as Office 365, AWS, or Azure.
