Luv-A-Duck Pty Ltd is Australia's market-leading producer of raw and processed duck products. We are seeking a qualified IT administrator to maintain and develop our IT technology and manage our internal databases, software, domains, website, security and networks.

The key responsibilities will be as follows:

• Responsible for managing projects related to the integration of systems we are currently using, such as Parity warehousing software, enterprise resource planning software NetSuite, Microsoft 365 administration, security with Cythera, and all the networking involved in these organizational solutions.

• Timely resolution of network IT incidents, problems and requests with IT service levels

• Registering all network devices in the monitoring and alerting system.

• Maintaining a register of IP assignments.

• Delivering monthly reports on equipment utilisation, availability and recommendations

• Providing quarterly reports on devices refresh schedule.

• Providing assistance to staff in understanding the systems and liaising with external support agencies for technical issues

• Ensuring all cabling is labelled, cabled and patched to technical specifications and cabinet designs are maintained, and power supply meets site requirements.

• Ensuring business systems, networks and telephony are secure from threats by implementing appropriate security measures and practices.

• Contributing to the improvement of the company’s IT and telephony infrastructure by recommending and testing new technologies.

• Maintaining and/or creating SOP’s and manuals on IT Infrastructure.

Particular accountabilities for the following:

Network Hardware

• Routers and Switches: Configuration and management.

• Firewalls: Implementing and managing firewall policies.

• Access Points and Wireless Controllers: Wireless network configuration and management.

• Cabling: Understanding different types of network cables (Fiber optics) and their uses.

Network Protocols and Services

• DNS: Domain Name System configuration and troubleshooting.

• DHCP: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol setup and management.

• VPNs: Virtual Private Network setup and management for secure remote access.

• VoIP: Voice over IP technology and its implementation.

Microsoft Windows Server

• Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring Windows Server environments.

• Active Directory: Managing user accounts, groups, organizational units, and group policies.

• File and Storage Solutions: Implementing and managing file storage solutions.

• Networking Services: Configuring DHCP, DNS, and other network services.

• Remote Desktop Services: Setting up and managing remote desktop environments.

• High Availability: Implementing failover clustering and network load balancing.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• User and Group Management: Managing users, groups, and licenses in Microsoft 365.

• Exchange Online: Configuring and managing email, calendars, and contacts.

• SharePoint Online: Setting up and managing SharePoint sites for collaboration.

• Teams: Configuring and managing Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.

• OneDrive: Administering OneDrive for Business for file storage and sharing.

• Security and Compliance: Implementing security and compliance features like Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Conditional Access, and eDiscovery.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent 5+ years’ experience in delivering technology/infrastructure solutions (project implementation) to medium - large organisations.

• Expertise in Microsoft solutions and skills in SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services, JavaScript, and custom solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in the roll-out of technology projects such as Wi-Fi implementation, unified communication, networking, mobility, cloud solution (such as Office365) and other infrastructure projects.

• Analytical skills and a practical approach to solving business problems.

• Ability to deliver smaller projects from a one-person team and work with a larger group on more complex projects.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing
