ABOUT COMMUNITY CENTRES SA

Community Centres SA is the peak body for over 100 Community and Neighbourhood Centres located across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia. Over 35,000 visitors come to our centres each week to connect up with others, to learn, and to participate in a wide range of services and activities. For over 35 years, we have been a catalyst for community development, by building the strength, capacity and influence of our sector through advocacy, workforce and organisational development.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Program Manager is a highly valued and key member of the Community Centres SA team, providing both program management for funded programs and day-to-day administrative operations.

The prime function of the role is to manage programs within funders' requirements, to meet budget and outcomes in a timely manner and within the resource capacity of CCSA, with limited direction.

A secondary function of the role is to coordinate administrative tasks as directed and included in the key accountabilities and duties listed in the Position Description.

Drawing upon your expertise, you will exercise decision-making. You will coordinate programs, program budgets and set outcomes to achieve organisation objectives, working autonomously and under limited direction from the CEO and Board of Management.

You will provide leadership and supervision to program staff and are expected to use high level interpersonal skills to achieve results and motivate staff towards achieving the Community Centres SA Strategic Vision.
