Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to supervise our dynamic team. In this role, you will run the front of house staff on a day to day level, ensure high standards of service, staff productivity and our customers needs are met, and contribute to the continued success of Avocados Café and Bar. Customer satisfaction is the priority whilst also meeting business demands. This is a hands on, on site role at our beautiful venue in Kelmscott. Our venue also includes accommodation and from time to time you will be required to assist with check ins, taking bookings and answering general questions. On occasion assisting with set up and facilitation of functions and events may be required.
This position is overseen by the Front of House Operations Manager and the Business Owner.
Flexible working arrangements do include some nights and weekends. The salary is for a Level 3 Food and beverage attendant, in a supervisory capacity, and is based on an average of 40 hours per week. Performing waitstaff duties is essential and expected.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct restaurant staff on a day to day basis ensuring a high level of productivity
Lead, train and motivate front of house staff
Maintain high standards of customer service and productivity
Assist with scheduling of front of house staff
Address/response to customer enquiries and feedback
Ensure compliance with liquor legislation, health safety and hygiene standards
Assist with inventory management
Work with budgetary parameters
Requirements:
At least 1-2 years proven experience in a senior FOH/supervisory/leadership and/or management role in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Knowledge of contemporary cuisine and service styles.
Availability to be flexible with hours to meet business demands, including early mornings nights, weekends, and public holidays.
RSA / Approved Managers Card (preferred)
Patience and confidence to lead, mentor, nurture and motivate team members (especially junior staff!!)
