Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new staff, and maintaining accurate employee records. This position is crucial in ensuring our workforce is supported and compliant with regulatory requirements in the home care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interviewing, and reference checks

Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding and orientation sessions

Maintain and update staff records, contracts, and compliance documentation

Ensure all HR practices comply with industry regulations and standards

Support managers and team leaders with HR-related queries and procedures

Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR processes and systems

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the health care or community services sector

Strong understanding of HR policies, employee relations, and recruitment practices

Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills

High level of confidentiality, integrity, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources Management (desirable)
