About the Role

• This Payroll Team Lead position is an excellent opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities within a large, supportive team. You will manage a team of Payroll Officers while overseeing end-to-end payroll processing. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll expertise who is passionate about career growth and leadership.
• Please note: This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Duties:

• Perform End to End Payroll processing
• Handle leave calculations, long service, maternity, and parental leave
• Interpret complex EBA's and Awards
• Demonstrate high-volume payroll processing
• Utilize strong payroll system knowledge
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee Super & Tax calculations
• Manage terminations and redundancies
• Address all payroll-related queries

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a large volume, complex payroll environment
• Experience with PayGlobal is desirable
• Full-function payroll experience
• Prior leadership experience is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of superannuation & payroll tax
• Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders
• In-depth understanding of EBA's & Awards
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Proven ability to work under pressure
