About the role

Tanks Plumbing Services is seeking a talented and organised Accounts and Administration Officer to join our team in Eagle Farm, QLD. This part-time role (12 - 20 hours a week) will be responsible for handling various administrative and financial duties, playing a vital part in the smooth running of our operations. As an integral member of our administrative team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

• Handling Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
• Assisting with Invoice: Creating, managing, and sending out customer quotes and invoices.
• Accurate Data Entry in Fergus & Xero, keeping financial records up to date.
• Providing general Administrative support, such as answering phone enquiries, managing correspondence, and maintaining office systems and procedures
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required
• Providing support to the management team as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a similar accounts and administration role, ideally within the plumbing or construction industry
• Excellent numerical and financial skills, with a strong attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (such as Xero and Fergus)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
• A proactive and organised approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• A team player with a positive and flexible attitude
