Sous-Chef – Le Bouchon (Balnarring, Mornington Peninsula)

Le Bouchon is a long-standing French restaurant located in Balnarring, on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Known for authentic cuisine, professional service, and a loyal clientele, we’re now looking for an experienced Sous-Chef to step into a key leadership role in our kitchen.

This is a hands-on position, ideal for a chef with solid technical ability and team leadership skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to quality. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to manage prep and service, maintain high standards, and mentor junior staff.

What You’ll Bring:

A strong and broad culinary background, with confidence in French techniques

Experience running the pass and managing kitchen flow during service

Great communication and organisational skills

Reliability, maturity, and attention to detail

A team mindset and readiness to step up and grow

What We Offer:

$80,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience

Full-time hours in a well-structured kitchen

Sundays and Mondays off

No public holiday work
