The Role

As a Senior Sales Associate at Sydney ICT, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth. You will engage in strategic sales activities, manage client relationships, and identify new opportunities for both existing and prospective clients. With a focus on government and commercial sectors, you will handle project quotes, bid proposals, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to enhance our competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to potential and high-value existing clients to introduce and promote Sydney ICT's suite of services.
  • Develop, manage, and track quotes for ICT projects and services.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive offerings.
  • Utilise CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) to manage client interactions and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies with company goals.
  • Support the development of a Strategic Response Management (SRM) centre of excellence within Sydney ICT.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and progress toward targets.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 3-5 years in ICT/MSP sales with a proven record of achieving targets.
  • Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM tools like HubSpot; familiarity with sales management platforms such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Sales Acumen: Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Independence & Motivation: High self-motivation, effective time management, and prioritisation skills.
  • Client-Focused Approach: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Willing to work flexible hours, including occasional travel to client sites.

Desirable

  • Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA &Cisco, and industry knowledge.
  • Experience in the government sector or large-scale enterprise sales.
