Farm Owners Academy is growing, and we’re on the lookout for a hands-on, process-driven Sales Manager to lead and own the sales function in the business.
This is a fully remote role, we are hiring Australia-wide!

About The Role
With strong demand and a growing number of warm, high-intent leads, we’re now looking to strengthen our sales function by hiring a hands-on Sales Leader.
In this role, you’ll lead a remote team of 4–5 Coaching Sales Consultants and New Member Coordinators owning the full sales pipeline—from lead triage to conversion. You’ll track performance, manage team cadence, and ensure every missed sale becomes a moment of learning and growth.
You’ll report directly to the CEO, aligning sales strategy with broader business goals. While a Senior Sales Consultant leads mentoring and advanced training, you’ll take ownership of developing New Member Coordinators (who are triaging and setting appointments). Your focus will be on driving performance through clear processes, smart systems, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
1. Lead and Inspire a High-Performance Sales Team
Manage a remote team of 4–5 Coaching Sales Consultants and New Member Coordinators.
Foster a culture of clarity, care, and accountability.
Run daily huddles, weekly 1:1s, and drive energy, focus, and alignment across the team.
2. Drive Sales Performance and Own the Numbers
Take full ownership of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Ensure the team consistently meets (and exceeds) revenue goals across multiple programs.
Monitor key metrics like show-up rates, close %, call benchmarks, and lead quality.
3. Coach for Excellence
Listen to calls to provide actionable coaching on objection handling, emotional connection, structure, and tone.
Uphold a culture of high standards.
4. Manage Pipeline and Lead Distribution
Oversee lead allocation, calendar coverage, and triage-to-close handoffs.
Track volume, source attribution, and lead-to-conversion ratios.
Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Coaching to ensure seamless transitions and alignment.
5. Build and Maintain a World-Class Sales Process
Document, implement, and refine SOPs, scripts, and systems.
Ensure processes are followed precisely.
Deliver onboarding, ongoing training, and reinforce best practices across the team.
6. Build a Sales-Driven Culture
Celebrate wins and reinforce a mindset of ownership, not excuses.
Cultivate a team that sees themselves as professionals—motivated, resilient, and results-focused.
7. Collaborate Across the Business
Work closely with Marketing to optimise lead quality and funnel performance.
Provide sales feedback to influence messaging and campaign design.
Coordinate with Coaching to ensure smooth client onboarding and a strong first impression.
Who You Are
This role is perfect for someone stepping into sales leadership—or who has recently made that move—and has a strong grasp of what a high-performing sales function looks like and how to lead one effectively.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- 3+ years in sales - ideally high-ticket coaching, courses or consulting
- Strong understanding of setter/closer dynamics, triage calls and sales cycle
- Confident in reviewing sales calls accross varying skill levels
- Experience in CRM and scheduling tools (e.g. Ontraport, Pipedrive, Acuity)
- Skilled at building and maintaining SOPs, training materials, and onboarding systems
