Corrie St Medical is currently seeking an experienced GP Receptionist to join our team. To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience in a GP Clinic, experience with Medical Director/PracSoft (or similar) and knowledge of Medicare item numbers and their application.

Responsibilities:

· Booking patient appointments.

· Taking incoming telephone calls and assisting patients with enquiries

· Managing patients' billing and receipting, preparation and maintenance of practice scheduling, scanning and filing.

· Assist Doctors with day-to-day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasks.

· Function in a highly organised and time efficient manner at all times.

Preferred Skills:

· Excellent reception skills, both face to face and phone, with the ability to manage our waiting rooms, and to liaise in a professional manner with Medical Providers, patients and co-workers.

· Excellent time management and organisational skills together with the skill to multi-task in a fast-paced busy practice.

· The confidence to work independently or as part of our busy friendly reception team.

· Awareness of RACGP Accreditation processes and its’ application in day to day general practice and the ability to follow and adhere to practice policies.
