About the role

Russell Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Medical Receptionist to join our team in Macgregor, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment calendar

Handling patient enquiries and providing exceptional customer service

Assisting with patient registration and medical record management

Performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice

Collaborating with the medical team to ensure efficient clinic operations

What we're looking for

At least 2 years' experience in a medical reception or similar customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, doctors and colleagues

Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities

Proficiency in medical terminology, scheduling software and electronic medical record systems

A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Competent in words and excel

3-4 days a week
