Core Cabinetry provide a custom commercial joinery to a broad range of customers across Australia. As member of the Core Group of companies and having experienced continued growth this is an exciting time to join the Core Cabinetry team.

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality joinery services while fostering a positive and inclusive company culture.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a full-time Project coordinator and administrator to join our team.

Join our close-knit team and become an integral part of our dynamic environment, working closely with Project Managers, Production managers and Company Directors to ensure the seamless execution of joinery projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Project Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers to develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate necessary resources, including Labor, equipment, and materials to meet project objectives.

Documentation: Compile drawings and project related documentation ready for project commencement.

Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with internal staff and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.

Risk Management: Identify and escalate potential risks and issues to the Project Manager, recommending mitigation plans.

Project Closeout: Assist in the project closeout phase, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and the project meets all contractual and regulatory requirements.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

Demonstrated success in similar project coordination roles, ideally within the cabinet making or construction industry.

A customer-oriented mindset, capable of liaising professionally and pleasantly with internal staff and clients.

Excellent time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility in your approach to work and changes in the work environment and project dynamics, with the ability to set and achieve deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Experience with drafting and design documentation would be considered advantageous

Ideal candidates have a passion for building beautiful joinery, are client focused or are administrators from the construction industry.
