About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant and dynamic team at Aussies in Canberra, ACT. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our customers in a casual work environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, specialty coffee drinks

Ensuring excellent customer service by providing a friendly and welcoming experience

Maintaining a clean and organised work area, following all health and safety guidelines

Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Collaborating with the team to provide a seamless and efficient customer experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment, including espresso machines and grinders

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

Ability to work well in a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
