ABOUT THE COMPANY

My client is a well-respected supplier of high-performance construction machinery – think excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and cranes. They're known for reliable equipment, strong service support, and great relationships in the industry.

Right now, they're growing their footprint in NSW and are looking for a Business Development Manager who knows how to connect with clients, open doors, and drive revenue. If you're passionate about machinery, love being out in the field, and want to be rewarded for the deals you close – this is your chance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on sales role where you’ll be spending most of your time on the road or on site – not stuck behind a desk.

Here’s what your day might look like:

Visiting construction and civil sites to meet with clients (both new and existing)

Identifying opportunities for machinery sales and presenting tailored solutions

Running demos and talking specs with project managers and equipment operators

Quoting, negotiating, and closing deals – with full support from internal teams

Building long-term partnerships and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients

Keeping an eye on competitor activity and staying up to date on new products

You’ll be selling to contractors, plant hire businesses, and construction firms across Sydney and regional NSW.

ABOUT YOU

Sales experience in construction equipment, capital machinery, or related industries (civil, mining, plant hire, etc.)

A true hunter mindset – someone who loves the thrill of the chase and building relationships from the ground up

Great communication skills – confident speaking with everyone from site managers to business owners

Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own territory

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Base $90,000 - $120,000 | Super 11.5% | Company Car or Car Allowance | Commission
