Take your career to new heights with North Queensland Airports Group, the operator of Cairns and Mackay Airports. We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Works Delivery Coordinator to join our Infrastructure & Property Team in Cairns.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in the dynamic aviation and transport industry, where infrastructure, technology, and service delivery go hand in hand. In this role, you'll coordinate the planning and delivery of infrastructure and maintenance works, including managing external contracts and contractors.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:

Infrastructure & Asset Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate daily delivery of planned and reactive maintenance for airport infrastructure and assets.

Support the permitting system (PERCOW) and manage asset inspection programs, prioritising critical assets.

Provide technical advice on major airport works and maintenance planning.

Assist with contract preparation, performance monitoring, and compliance management.

Contractor & Worksite Management

Work closely with the Works Delivery Manager to ensure all activities are delivered safely, on time and on budget.

Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to Australian Standards, company policies, and regulations.

Maintain accurate records through our Computerised Maintenance Management System (MEX).

Continuous Improvement & Leadership

Promote best practice and modern Asset Management principles.

Support a safety-first culture and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.

Encourage a customer-centric approach in all maintenance and contractor interactions.

ABOUT YOU:

Diploma, Degree or Trade qualification (desirable).

3+ years’ experience in contractor management or coordination roles.

Strong understanding of infrastructure and asset maintenance in a technical environment.

HVAC & Fire systems knowledge and experience working in a security-sensitive environment (desirable).

High-level communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Computer literacy, including MS Office and CMMS (MEX preferred).
