The Role

The Financial Planning Analyst’s role is to support the Financial Accounting Manager, finance team, and business in the timely and accurate reporting and analysis of monthly accounts, budgets, and forecasts.

• Provide assistance through the completion of regular corporate reporting requirements, which include reports for pricing, dashboards, transactional FX, Sales Reconciliation, OPEX Reconciliation, Incentive Reconciliation, and forecast reports
• Work with payroll to support the production of the Headcount report
• Prepare dashboard reports
• Assist with quarterly and regular forecast updates
• Assist with preparation of Budget sales and margin and perform analysis
• Assist with the compilation of OPEX Budget
• Assist with Balance Sheet Budget
• To perform detailed profit analysis for actuals by series by market
• Product pricing and discounting analysis, and variance analysis
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

The Person

• Experience in financial planning and analysis and within a large complex organisation
• You will be an analytical thinker with evaluative judgement
• You will be adaptable with a keen attention to detail, excellent communication, and a passion for continuous improvement
• Time management is essential, you will be monitoring and analysing large amounts of data
• You will also need to demonstrate an ability to work across various functions in the business and manage stakeholders
• CPA/CA (or studying towards)
• Advance Microsoft Excel and SAP knowledge advantageous.
