Our client is a nationally recognised leader in the FMCG and manufacturing sector, hosting many household name brands. With a strong market presence and continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst for a 12-month FTC to join their dynamic finance team in Western Sydney.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control across multiple production sites. Your ability to turn complex data into actionable business insights will help shape key strategic decisions and support ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to analyse production costs, inventory movements, and margin drivers
• Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis against budget/forecast
• Assist in the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes
• Take part in month-end close activities, including variance analysis, forecasts, and risk reviews, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Play a key role in preparing financial models and business cases to evaluate the impact of improvement projects.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance and operations function

Your Profile

• CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
• Experience working as an analyst in the manufacturing industry
• Have previously partnered with operations or supply chain
• Proven exposure and understanding of costing and inventory
• Advanced Excel skills
• 2 weeks or less notice period
