Account Manager – Capital Equipment & Infusion Pumps – NSW & ACT

Our client is a global MedTech company with a strong presence in Australia. Due to continuous growth, we require an experienced Account Manager in Sydney covering NSW & ACT. The successful Account Manager will drive Capital Equipment sales focusing on Medical Management Solutions in the Hospital Pharmacy setting while also lead Infusion Pump sales. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Role / Description

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a global MedTech company. The successful Account Manager will join a high performing team driving sales in the Medical Management Solutions business with a focus on Pharmacies in the Hospital setting.

Our product offering is high end capital equipment used in Hospital Pharmacies to automate medication storage and streamline medication dispensing. Due to the price and sales cycle involved, we require experienced sales professionals with demonstrable expertise in Capital Equipment sales with a clear understanding of longer sales cycles. Part of the portfolio also includes Infusion Pumps, therefore previous expertise in this space with the ability to sell consumables is also important.

The most suitable applicant with have clear expertise in Capital Equipment sales in the MedTech arena with exposure to Robotics or Digital selling solutions. We require candidates with the hunter mentality with the ability to build relationships with key decision makers and KOLs within the NSW & ACT Hospital / Pharmacy space from day one.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous and demonstrable experience in MedTech capital equipment sales

• Strong understanding of NSW & ACT Health including procurement processes

• Clear network of relevant KOLs and customer base within assigned territory

• Ability to hunt for new business with clear relevant examples of growth

• Available to travel frequently throughout NSW & ACT

• A proven industry professional with high levels of integrity is necessary

• Bachelors or master's degree in Life Sciences or similar
