We are on the lookout for a Senior Training professional to join our clients' Safety & Training team. This role will involve coordinating training programs, planning and managing training budgets, and aligning training systems to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.

Description
This role is focused on balancing the needs of the business to maintain legal training compliance and setting them up for success in providing high-quality services to customers. The role has a strategic focus, including developing and maintaining training budgets, assisting with tender responses, and assisting with the management of relationships with client training and compliance teams. Alongside this the role includes:
- Develop and implement national training programs to enhance skills and improve safety.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Assist with facilitation of large-scale training and VOC programs
- Collaborate with external training providers as required.
- Monitor and report on training activities and outcomes.
Profile
To be successful in this role a candidate should have:
- A strong understanding of the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Formal qualifications in training and assessment
- Proven experience in coordinating and delivering training programs.
- Proven experience in developing and managing training budgets, particularly in a contractor environment
- An ability to evaluate and improve training effectiveness.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- A solid understanding of operational risk and compliance procedures.
