The Opportunity

We are recruiting 7 roles across APS3, APS4 and APS6 levels to support a Government Agency’s Claims Administration and Income Support team. These roles provide vital financial services, from processing income payments and debt recovery to assessing claims and supporting clients.
Whether you have strong admin skills or experience in finance/accounting, this is a fantastic way to get experience in the public sector.

Key responsibilities include:

• Timely and accurate processing of income payments and financial transactions.
• Supporting debt recovery processes or managing payments and recoveries.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and service standards.
• Analysing data, identifying risks and supporting process improvements.
• Leading and mentoring junior staff (APS6 roles).

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in administration, finance, payments or insurance.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under direction, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Baseline security clearance (or ability to obtain).

Rates & Contract Details:

APS3: $71,386–$77,491 p.a. equivalent
APS4: $79,552–$87,004 p.a. equivalent
APS6: $99,985–$110,946 p.a. equivalent

Location: Canberra, ACT

Duration: 6–12 months
All roles are non-ongoing (contract) government positions.
