About the Roles:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Recruitment and Onboarding Branch in administrative roles. The available positions are:
- Administrative Support Officers (APS5 equivalent)
- Operational Practice Officers (APS5 equivalent)
- Assistant Administrative Officers (APS2 equivalent)
Role Responsibilities:
Administrative Support Officers (APS5 equivalent):
- Provide project administrative support, including documentation and operational readiness activities.
- Assist with implementation planning and developing training materials.
- Write and distribute communications.
- Familiarity with eRecruitment systems is desirable.
Operational Practice Officers (APS5 equivalent):
- Conduct stocktake, maintenance, and updates of recruitment-related resources.
- Establish and maintain audit-compliant record-keeping practices.
- Provide learning materials and support for panels and delegates.
- Update materials and develop communications to reflect changes, including APSC reforms, promotion reviews and secondments.
Assistant Administrative Officers (APS2 equivalent):
- Handle RMU onboarding tasks, including creating personnel files for onboarded staff.
- Interact with eRecruitment systems and manage records efficiently.
The Successful Candidate
APS5 Roles (equivalent):
- Research and review current documents and processes.
- Consult and engage with stakeholders to gather input.
- Produce high-quality, fit-for-purpose written documents and resources.
- Implement a repository for branch products and documents.
APS2 Roles (equivalent):
- Create personnel files in line with quality and timeliness standards.
What is on Offer for the Role:
Work Type: Contract until September 2025 plus 2 x 6 month extensions
Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $80.00
Location: Canberra
Security Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen and pass a National Police Check
