Your new company

This large and diverse Federal Government Department is seeking an APS6 Policy Officer for a labour hire contract until the end of this financial year with the possibility of an extension.

Your new role

In this role, you will undertake significant stakeholder engagement and consultation work with states and territories to develop a Government strategy, which is expected to be completed this year. You will be required to gather and synthesise information, revise the strategy and prepare briefing materials and undertake high-level note-taking in meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong policy/stakeholder engagement background at the APS6 level from within the APS. You will be resilient and someone who is able to deal with change.
