Qualified Fire Alarm Technician

Electrician

What You’ll Be Doing

Install, maintain and test fire detection, EWIS, and occupant warning systems

Carry out general electrical works across commercial and industrial environments

Program and commission fire panels (Ampac, Pertronic, Notifier, etc.)

Read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules

Work independently and as part of a project team to deliver high-quality, compliant installations

What You’ll Bring

QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence or QBCC Fire Occupational Licence

Experience in fire alarm systems and EWIS installations

Sound knowledge of Australian fire standards (AS 1670, AS 1851, etc.)

CPR/LVR, White Card, Manual Driver’s Licence

EWP (Scissor Lift or Boom), Working at Heights (preferred)

Open Cablers Licence (advantageous)

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities

Excellent time management and communication skills
