About the role

Rassco Fire is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Panel Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney, NSW. As a Fire Panel Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems across a range of commercial and industrial properties.

What you'll be doing

Conducting scheduled inspections, testing and maintenance of fire panels and associated equipment

Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with fire alarm systems and undertaking repairs as required

Providing advice and recommendations to clients on the optimal operation and maintenance of their fire protection systems

Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Australian Standards and building regulations

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed

Assisting with the installation of new fire alarm systems as needed

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a fire alarm technician, with a demonstrated track record of working on a variety of fire panel systems

Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm equipment, including programming, testing and maintenance procedures

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex issues

Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information to clients

A current driver's licence and the willingness to travel to job sites across the Sydney metropolitan area
