Your new role
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Facilities & Security team as Team Leader on a full-time, fixed term basis to 30 June 2026. Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Risk the role is responsible for leading the Facilities and Building Security team, to ensure the protection of IBAC's staff and physical and material property, including infrastructure, systems and collated evidence. The Team Leader - Facilities and Security has responsibility for front reception and building security, facilities maintenance and requests, security briefings, and public and private hearing security.
Duties include:
- Lead the Facilities and Building Security team to ensure the provision of high-quality facilities and building security services and support the delivery of business outcomes.
- Manage the reception function, coordinating rosters and ensuring high standards of customer service with both internal and external clients.
- Assist Operations staff with risk assessments in relation to hearings or facilities/security matters, as required.
- Liaise with building and building maintenance contractors as required, including establishing and managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards and regulations.
- Oversee the Fleet management function for the organisation including assisting with the development of appropriate policies, maintenance and reporting of vehicle logbooks.

Please note that this position is based at IBAC's Melbourne CBD office at 459 Collins Street. Candidates will be required to work rostered shifts onsite between 7:00am and 7:30pm.
Our requirements / Your skill set
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- Experience in administering security access management and CCTV systems.
- Demonstrated experience in facilities and fleet management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a front reception function.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team.
- Knowledge and/or experience with legal proceedings and processes, including hearings, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work with precision and accuracy.
Candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application and be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Clearance.
