About the role

The Team Leader (Adult Community Corrections) reports to the Manager Adult Community Corrections, and oversees a team that manages offenders on community orders, including high risk offenders to expected standards to ensure security of offenders and safety in the community and provide advice to courts and releasing authorities

The Electronic Monitoring Team Leader reports to the Manager Adult Community Corrections. This position will operate on a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week basis and therefore the role undertakes a shift work roster.

Initially the role will have a specific focus on gaining knowledge and expertise of the electronic monitoring equipment and monitoring system. You will be co-located in the State Operation Command Centre and will act as the central point for the coordination and prioritisation of a response to electronic monitoring across the State. You will also have the responsibility of managing a team of Electronic Monitoring Officers. The role will require the ability to assess and analyse a situation to be able to provide and contribute towards an informed response that prioritises the safety of the victim and wider community.
