Team Leader – Electronic Security

Townsville-Based | up to $60/hr + Super + Vehicle | Commercial & Defence

Take the lead in a high-performing team delivering advanced electronic security services across North Queensland. This is a unique opportunity to guide, support, and grow a skilled crew working with cutting-edge systems on major commercial and defence projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of 8–10 security technicians across Townsville, Cairns & Rockhampton

Oversee service, maintenance, commissioning and pre-commissioning of security systems

Provide technical expertise and field support across a range of projects

Schedule, prioritise and manage workflows while ensuring quality standards

Travel to remote locations (up to 1 week at a time) including islands and mining camps

Engage in client liaison, reporting, and problem-solving as a senior team contact

Work on Gallagher (Primary system), Tecom, Integriti, and other leading platforms, CCTV, Access Control, Alarms, Intercoms

What You Need to Bring

Proven leadership experience in security or technical services

Technical background in Electronic Security (or Electrical)

QLD Security Licence & Cabling Licence

NV1 Clearance or ability to obtain

REL (Registered Electrical Licence)

EWP & Working With Children Check (bonus)

Strong communication and team management skills
