APG are currently seeking a Project Quality Representative for 3-month contract for a Government Sector based in Wagga Wagga.
Project Quality Representative – SW Bridge Crew
Location: Wagga Wagga, NSW
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $45.21 Per Hour + Super + Allowances
Hours: 8.5 hours per day | 76 hours per fortnight
Work Structure: 9-day fortnight
Travel: Living away from home may be required (accommodation and allowances provided)
Join Our Southwest Bridge Crew – Drive Quality & Safety in Key Infrastructure Projects
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Quality Representative to join our SW Bridge Crew based in Wagga Wagga. In this vital role, you’ll ensure our bridge maintenance and construction projects meet the highest standards for quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of advanced non-trade functions under limited supervision.
- Complete assigned activities to quality specifications, drawing on acquired knowledge and relevant guidelines.
- Resolve routine problems independently and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Apply WHS legislation and quality standards in all aspects of the role.
- Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and support to team members.
- Contribute to team meetings and suggest continuous improvements.
- Interact professionally with colleagues, external providers, and the public.
About You
- Experience in a similar quality-focused or infrastructure support role.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance practices and WHS legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Confident communicator with solid written and verbal skills.
- Willingness to undertake labouring tasks and work near traffic.
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and adaptable to changing work environments.
Requirements
- White Card (Construction Industry Induction)
- Current WOF ticket (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid C class driver’s licence or higher
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
- Ability to live away from home during the work week (as required)
Additional Information
- A police check is required. You may commence work prior to its return; however, any adverse findings will result in immediate termination without penalty.
- Majority of work will be based in Wagga, with some travel across NSW.
