General Manager – Brandis Hire
📍 Location: Caboolture 🕒 Full-time
As the General Manager, you will be the driving force of our business, ensuring operational excellence and delivery of the strategic plan. Your leadership will directly contribute to the business objectives of the company, helping to achieve targets and scale the business.
About the Role:
You will oversee the daily operations of our 3 branches in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria focusing on our 6 divisions:
Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, Finance and People.
If you have a background in electrical services, a track record in business ownership or senior management, and a passion for building high-performing teams—this role is for you.
✅ Our 6 Divisions and your contribution:
Marketing
Work closely with the Marketing team to generate leads, enhance our technology systems, driving operational efficiency and scalability.
Implement new technology solutions that support both operational needs and customer satisfaction.
Sales
Oversee sales, customer service, and delivery management to ensure an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.
Resolve complex customer issues and develop strategies to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
Drive innovation to improve the customer journey and expand Brandis Hire’s market presence.
Product
Identify and recognise emerging products and trends.
Drive strategic decisions and maintain our competitive edge.
Oversee the management, maintenance and upkeep of our hire asset fleet, ensuring high stock availability
Operations
Lead the execution of our organizational strategy, ensuring alignment across all teams to achieve financial targets and growth objectives.
Translate high-level goals into actionable programs that accelerate our growth and operational efficiency.
Identify new opportunities in markets, customer needs, and processes, and implement strategies to capitalize on them.
Chair leadership meetings to drive accountability, collaboration, and keep all teams aligned on priorities.
Regularly evaluate operational performance and provide insights to improve business outcomes.
Finance
Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to support strategic initiatives and profitable growth.
Oversee financial performance, including cash flow, accounts payable, and payroll, to drive sustainability and profitability.
Leverage data and analytics to track financial outcomes, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks.
People
Provide direct leadership to Branch and Functional Unit Managers to ensure team success and goal achievement.
Champion recruitment, onboarding, and development programs that ensure the right talent is in place to support our growth.
Cultivate a culture of high performance by demonstrating the company’s vision, mission, and values.
Promote communication and alignment across all branches to create a unified team driving Brandis Hire forward.
About you:
A Proven Leader: You excel at managing and motivating people—you are someone who can build trust, foster a positive team culture, and bring out the best in others through clear communication, empathy, and accountability.
Strategic & Data-Driven: You can think big picture while managing the day-to-day operations and using data to make informed decisions that drive growth.
Industry Experience: Experience in the equipment hire industry or related technical fields is highly desirable, as is a background in electrical/technical projects.
Strong Financial Acumen: You have a proven track record of managing P&L, budgets, and financial reporting to drive profitability and efficiency.
Customer-Centric: You know what it takes to deliver an outstanding customer experience and have the ability to resolve complex issues to build lasting relationships.
Exceptional Communication Skills: You are a clear and confident communicator, able to influence at all levels and lead through inspiration.
Innovative & Forward-Thinking: You are always looking for ways to improve operations through technology and process enhancements.
