Walk Mornington Peninsula PTY LTD is a vibrant, rapidly growing hiking company based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Our mission is to connect people who share a passion for adventure, nature, and meaningful connection.

We need your help to reach more people across Victoria. Hiking in bushland can feel intimidating, and many prefer not to go alone. At WALK MP, we plan and lead inclusive, welcoming hikes and multi-day adventures so people can relax and enjoy the adventure, and feel a part of something.

The Role – Is This You?

We’re looking for warm, outgoing, and reliable people to join our team as Hike Leaders. Whether you’re an experienced guide or just someone who loves the outdoors, connecting with people, and sharing your backyard, we want to hear from you.

Photography or content creation is a huge part of what we do...around 70% of our community is built through the photos and stories we share online. If you’ve got a good eye for photos or enjoy capturing moments (even on your phone), that’s a major bonus, as this will be part of your role.

You’ll guide weekly hikes across the Mornington Peninsula and other iconic locations like Geelong, Torquay, The Dandenong etc, with potential to lead multi-day hiking adventures and help us expand into new regions around Victoria

The Best Part?

You get to choose the days and locations that suit you. We offer flexibility, but we’re looking for consistency (e.g., the same day each week) to help build strong group connections.

Selection Criteria – What You’ll Bring:

- Previous tour guiding or group leadership experience is a plus, but NOT essential-
- Experience in tourism and/or customer service is highly valued
- A warm, people-first personality who can help others feel welcome and included
- A love of the outdoors and a sense of adventure
- A passion (or interest) in photography or content creation
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a good sense of direction
- Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic
- Current First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently
- Working rights in Australia
- Familiarity with National Parks and hiking trails a bonus
- Willingness to work flexible hours and commit to a regular hiking schedule
- Team player with a good level of English
- Compliance with all safety requirements and Walk MP policies
