Key Responsibilities

Management, training and support of your direct reports (3 or 4 per team)

Handling visa applications, appeals, and cancellations

Providing legal advice and representation to clients in immigration matters

Supporting HR, People & Culture and other corporate client teams with immigration strategy, compliance, and support

Conducting legal research and preparing documentation

Building and maintaining relationships with clients

Ability to work with junior staff to support their education and training

Participate in Quality Assurance reviews of applications prior to lodgement

Requirements

A current practising certificate

At least 3 years of experience in immigration law

In depth knowledge of Australian immigration laws and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
