About the role

We want a talented, ambitious 2 or 3 years' post-admission experience (PAE) Lawyer who lives and breathes the law and loves coming to work every day to escape the doldrums of everyday life. We want someone who enjoys being challenged every day and who strives to be the best in their area of expertise. Ideally you will have experience in any of the following - Wills and Estates, Family Law or Litigation. This is a full-time position located at Glen Iris and within walking distance to Harold Holt swimming pool.

What you'll be doing

Taking on the carriage of matters and representing clients in one or more of the following areas - Wills and Estates, Family Law or Litigation

Drafting legal documents

Conducting legal research and analysis to support the firm's clients and matters

Actively participating in client meetings and managing client relationships

Collaborating with senior lawyers

Contributing to the firm's business development initiatives and marketing activities

What we're looking for

A Lawyer who has a passion for the law and for people

A Lawyer with a strong academic background who is admitted to practice in Victoria

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts to clients and in their submissions to the courts

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Keen interest in business development and a commitment to providing exceptional client service

Proficiency in using legal research tools, preferably LEAP management system and Microsoft Office suite

Keyboard and current computer skills
