They’re now seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant for a 9 month contract to support critical year-end reporting and broader financial operations during a key period for the business. You’ll work with a team of smart, collaborative finance professionals, playing a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, transparency, and high-quality reporting across a complex group of entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of financial reporting across multiple group entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
• Build strong working relationships with the administrator, custodian, auditors, and internal stakeholders to support reporting obligations
• Analyse complex accounting matters and support the development of technical position papers
• Assist in managing the group’s year-end reporting timetable, working cross-functionally to meet deadlines
• Support business-as-usual finance tasks including tax, month-end processes, and reporting inputs for the CFO
• Prepare detailed expense disclosures for the Annual Members’ Meeting in line with regulatory requirements

About You

You’re someone who enjoys the challenge of interpreting accounting standards in real-world scenarios, and who brings clarity and structure to complex reporting deliverables.

We’re Looking For:

• CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent tertiary finance qualifications
• Experience in financial services, superannuation, or professional services
• Strong understanding of financial and regulatory reporting standards relevant to large, regulated entities
• Excellent analytical, research, and stakeholder engagement skills
• A knack for project coordination, time management, and working with integrity under pressure
