Our Practice

Our obstetrics & gynaecology practice on the Mornington Peninsula, caring for women throughout all stages of life. From our offices co-located at Peninsula Private Hospital, we offer women a complete range of obstetric and gynaecological services.

The successful candidate will be a friendly, positive and enthusiastic person with ability to work in a busy specialist medical practice. On the job training will be provided for software and other systems being used by the practice.

Front Desk Administration

Meet & greet patients upon arrival

Answering phones, escalating patient requests as required

Booking patient follow up appointments.

Processing patient payments, Medicare Claims and doctor correspondence

Maintenance of electronic records via scanning, importing and updating of all records, including but not limited to patients and referring doctors

Medical Support Duties

Prepare, setup and pack-down doctor’s rooms as directed

Cleaning and sterilising of equipment as required

Monitor stock levels of medical and office supplies across the practice, including storeroom.

Follow protocols and practices for all aspects of the practice, including privacy, billing, appointments, cleaning and occupational health & safety

Supporting Medical Secretaries, Practice Manager and Doctors as required.

Qualifications, Experience and Key Competencies
  • Highly developed administration skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Developed data entry skills
  • An understanding of data privacy and data integrity best practices
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • Knowledge of Genie and Gentu preferred but not essential.
