We are a leading provider of supply chain and transport solutions in e-Commerce industry. Located in major cities - Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
Due to continued growth of the company we are looking for a Full-Time assistant accountant to join our above medium level but growing team based in our Homebush West office - starting ASAP.
The role is to assist and oversee all day to day accounting, financial and administrative function of the company. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who is able to work autonomously.
It is a busy role due to variety & volume of transactions so a good multi-tasker who is organised with great attention to detail is a must.
You must also have a sense of urgency in attending to client transactions on the spot in a timely manner.

Requirements:
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced level in MYOB AccountRight.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Numerically strong and have proficient data entry skills.
- Highly organised with high level attention to detail
- As we mainly import to Asian countries and dealing with many Chinese customers, fluent English and Mandarin in speaking and typing are required
- Citizen of Australia
- Permanent resident or Working Visa

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Actively assisting the Finance Manager with essential month-end and year-end closing procedures.

-Preparing and processing general journals.

-Assisting with the preparation of information for BAS, FBT, and Income Tax compliance.

-Supporting audit requests by providing necessary documentation.

- Ensuring tax compliance accuracy and relevance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies, such as payroll tax and workers compensation .etc

-Liaise within the team overseeing all aspects of transactional finance activities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Billing Officer .etc
- Staff Expense Claims.
- Performing ad hoc duties as requested.
