As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and reliable in-house Bookkeeper to join our close-knit team. This is a part-time role, perfect for someone looking to maintain a strong work-life balance while applying their experience in a flexible, supportive environment.

Role Overview:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the business. You will work closely with the Director and external accountant to ensure the financial integrity and smooth operation of our accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Full function accounts payable and receivable

Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations

Payroll processing, superannuation, tax, and employee entitlements

BAS preparation and lodgement

Monthly financial reporting

Monitoring budgets

Managing and reconciling petty cash and staff expenses

Liaising with external accountant and suppliers as required

Maintaining and updating financial records in Xero

General administrative and ad-hoc financial tasks

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role

Proficient in Xero (essential)

Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and payroll legislation

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Permanent residency or valid work rights in Australia
