THE RUSTIC OLIVE REDCLIFFE is an iconic Italian restaurant ideally situated in the main precinct restaurant district of Redcliffe overlooking stunning Moreton Bay. We are a local family business, well established, with a high reputation of providing quality food and service to our customers. We are looking for a qualified and experienced chef to join our team.

Position Description:

The position will consume the full role and responsibilities of a chef within our busy restaurant including menu planning – we have an extensive Italian based menu; ensuring food quality from preparation to presentation; working with managers, kitchen and wait staff ensuring high quality service and excellence in food preparation; monitor, check orders prior to delivery to ensure food dietary requirements are met.

Skills Required:

- Pan chef experience essential for Mediterranean dishes

- Extensive pizza and pasta cookery experience

- Previous experience of menu planning

- Relevant formal qualifications essential

- At least 1 years work experience required as a qualified chef

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work well often within tight timeframes

- Ability to be well organised

- Excellent team spirit appreciating the work of others within the team

- Good problem-solving skills

- Genuine care and pride in your work

Salary $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 plus superannuation depending on relevant experience and skills.
