About the role:

Reporting through to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to client enquiries and providing administrative support to Senior Account Managers;
• Processing new business, renewals, endorsements and quotations accurately and efficiently;
• Preparing client and insurer correspondence and maintaining updated claims and policy records;
• Assisting with customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution;
• Developing knowledge of insurance products, client industries and regulatory requirements;
• Managing a portfolio of private motor & domestic insurances; and
• Collaborating with team members and contributing to a positive, values-driven work environment.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Broking Assistant or Junior Account Executive, along with a Certificate III or IV in the field. A minimum Tier 2 qualification is required, with demonstrated progress toward obtaining Tier 1. You will possess sound technical insurance and broking skills in line with RG 146 competencies, including knowledge of retail insurance products, legislative obligations, claims processes and invoicing procedures. Proficiency in using technology and systems, particularly word processing and spreadsheet applications is essential.
