Join a leading Retail Group as a Commercial Analyst on an initial 12-month contract with a view to permanency; you’ll play a key role in providing data-driven insights to support business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting across key business units;
• Analyse sales, margin, and cost data to identify performance trends and opportunities;
• Assist in developing financial models and dashboards to support strategic and operational decision-making;
• Prepare business cases and post-implementation reviews for new initiatives and projects;
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, merchandising, and operations to support commercial objectives;
• Help improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and decision-making frameworks; and
• Provide support for key planning cycles and ad hoc analysis requests from senior stakeholders.

Qualifications / Experience

• CFA/CA/CPA qualified or working towards;
• 2–4+ years’ experience in commercial analysis, FP&A, or a similar finance role;
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus; and
• Retail/FMCG or large, fast-paced environment experience highly regarded.
