GIS Analyst - QGIS
Brisbane: 3-4 days in the office (neg)
$80,000 - $100,000 plus super
Lets be honest. Being a small cog in a big machine, working on the same old projects day in, day out, gets really boring.
If you want variety, and opportunity to make an impact, you should be talking to this growing GIS team.
The business is still "up and coming" with a team of around 25 people. To you, that means working directly with the leadership team, and real opportunity to make an impact on the business as it scales.
Your role would be a pivotal one for the company road map over the next 18-36 months. You'll be working with an array of different projects spanning renewable energy, ecology & biodiversity and the Olympic Stadium.
In the near term, you'll work as an individual contributor. That means working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver GIS solutions for an array of different customers. You'll be an experienced member of a growing team though, so there's very real opportunity to grow into leadership as the business evolves.
Key Skills and experience:
We're open to hiring at a range of different experience levels. What's important is that you can show at least a couple of years experience as a GIS Analyst (or similar), and a working knowledge of QGIS
If that sounds like you, either just hit "apply" for more details. Alternatively contact Jay Bicknell at Aurec for more details on this and other GIS Analyst openings.
