About the role

TriCare is recruiting a full-time Chief Information Officer (CIO) to manage the information technology services across 28 locations. In this full-time position based in Upper Mount Gravatt, Queensland, you will be responsible for managing the team and delivering IT outcomes, including digital transformation initiatives.

What you'll be doing

Drive TriCare's overall IT and digital strategy to support the company's business objectives

Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of robust and secure IT systems and infrastructure

Lead and manage the IT team (6 persons), ensuring efficient service delivery and continuous improvement

Identify and implement new technologies, processes and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity

Partner closely with business leaders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards

Manage IT budgets and resources to optimise value and return on investment

Represent TriCare on IT-related matters and communicate effectively with key stakeholders

What we're looking for

Experienced senior IT leader (5+ years)

Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to align IT initiatives with overall business goals

Demonstrated track record of leading successful digital transformation and change management initiatives

Good people management and leadership skills, with the ability to operate a high-performing IT team

Proven experience in managing IT budgets, resources and vendor relationships

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
