Our client is a Market-leading Freight Broker seeking a Business Development Manager, experienced in non-asset based domestic land transport, to join their growing Melbourne Team.

The Role:

• Identify, develop & secure new business opportunities across SMB market.
• Build/develop new and existing business relationships to grow your pipeline and achieve sales targets.
• Lead and develop business strategies to meet growth targets.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accounts are managed appropriately.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects that matches the company’s strategies.
• Complete sales reports and other administration tasks where required.

Your Background:

• Domestic land transport trucking experience from a non-asset based provider.
• Experience targeting and working with small-mid tier clients.
• Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer relationship skills.
• Exceptional negotiating skills and an excellent communicator.
