Primary School Counsellor.

The successful applicant will be an integral member of the school wellbeing team. Reporting to the Assistant Principal (Wellbeing) and the School Principal, the School Counsellor will work collaboratively to support students social, emotional, and psychological development.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a deep understanding of student mental health and wellbeing, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and staff. They will be proactive, empathetic, and culturally responsive, with the professional expertise to provide counselling support, develop preventative wellbeing programs, and contribute to a positive school culture where every child feels safe, respected, and empowered to thrive.
