Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
$83,916 - $ 89,248 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 3) + Superannuation

Are you ready to make a significant impact in our workshop operations? Join us as a Parts Purchasing and Inventory Officer for our busy workshop operations!
In this role, you'll be the backbone of our parts procurement and inventory management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
You'll also play a key role in maintaining the health and safety of our team and the public, while fostering strong supplier relationships.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
Experienced in procuring parts and services for road trucks, earthmoving equipment, tractors, and landscape equipment.
Knowledgeable about purchasing legislation, including the Local Government Act and Finance Standards.
Skilled in maintaining in-house inventory for repairs and maintenance of various equipment.
Proficient in liaising and negotiating with stakeholders.
Certificate III in Warehousing Operations/Inventory Management (Desirable).
High Risk Forklift License (LF) with warehouse experience.

Application Criteria
Certificate III in Warehousing Operations/Inventory Management and/or experience in a Parts Supply/Purchasing and Inventory Management roles in the road transport, earthmoving equipment, tractors and landscape industries.
High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) and experience operating within a stores/ warehouse environment.
Ability to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders regarding a wide range of procurement, purchasing and tendering issues.
