Nugan Wines, is a boutique local family winery, seeking an experienced Purchasing and Export officer to join their team. Strong administration skills will see you supporting our Sydney based Sales offices, along with managing purchasing and export functions from the winery. This role is diverse and will offer the challenge to learn and grow within our critical back-end function.

Key elements to the role include:

Co-ordinate stock takes of all dry goods to always ensure sufficient stock on hand, instigate purchase orders, receive and check dry good orders and enter into system (EZY)

Liaise with graphics designer to ensure all mandatory information is compliant, correct and accurate by proofreading of all labels.

Review Wine Australia website to ensure labels meet all legal requirements globally.

Liaise with winemakers on critical information legally required globally

Liaise with all dry goods suppliers to ensure best pricing where possible on dry goods.

Set up bulk container bookings and coordinate transport loading times

Work in conjunction with all departments to ensure the winery site maintains HACCP accreditation.

Handle all export documentation (certificates, PRA, EDN etc)

Assist Sydney sales office with processing purchase order and coordinating deliveries as required.

Assist Account Officer with data entry of AP & AR into finance system

Provide reports and directed by your manager and Managing Director

Training will be provided in accounts data entry if you do not have relevant experience.

It is preferable that you have Export and labeling experience of at least 2+ years, preferably in the wine or FMCG industry.
