About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef or Cook to join our team at Swell Bistro in Scotts Head, NSW. We are trying to fill a casual role with the opportunity for a fulltime position for the right person. You will be working alongside our Head chef and Sous chef crafting and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills in a stunning costal location within a fun and forward-thinking hospitality establishment. Immediate start.

What you'll be doing

Creating innovative menu items using fresh, seasonal ingredients

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation

Collaborating with the management team to develop and refine the restaurant's culinary concept

Maintaining a clean, organized and efficient kitchen environment

Providing guidance and mentorship to the kitchen staff

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef or Cook in a high-quality restaurant or bistro environment

Exceptional cooking skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes

Strong time management and multitasking abilities

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
