As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will be responsible for providing advice and coaching on a range of employee relations matters, leading investigations and case management activities, and supporting strategic and tactical ER initiatives.

Please note, this is a full time, permanent opportunity and flexible working is encouraged.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:

Coordinate and lead workplace investigations and complex cases, including prepare case management documentation including investigation reports and outcome letters.

Advise, coach and support leaders and P&C colleagues with ER-related matters, and contribute to capability-uplift programs.

Assist with enterprise agreement negotiations including preparation, consultation and approval processes where required.

Maintain appropriate record keeping in relation to all interactions with leaders and employees and case management activities.

Ensure exceptional ER service delivery, including through accurate and timely reporting, insight and trend assessment, and peer review processes.

Maintain a current knowledge of human resource and industrial relations frameworks, legislation, policy and practice.

What makes a difference for us?

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law or a related field, with previous experience in a similar role providing ER and HR advice to employees or leaders.

Demonstrated knowledge of employment-related legislation and experience applying and enforcing legislative requirements and resulting organisational obligations.

Proven experience leading workplace investigations end-to-end and driving successful outcomes.

Previous experience in supporting informal investigations, including coaching leaders and HR staff Experience interpreting enterprise agreements, HR policies and legislation and providing advice to employees and leaders.
