Make a meaningful difference with us:
We’re looking for someone who wants to make the world a little better through small moments that leave big impacts. To build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of others.
We want people who are great as individuals, and even better in a team.
As a HR Advisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of the People Advisory Team and will respond to all HR related queries and requests in a timely and client centred way and process transactional activities via Workday.
This role is a great entry point for a recent HR Graduate, looking to gain operational HR experience in Queensland’s second largest employers.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:

- Process employment-based variations of employment via transactions within the Workday HRIS system.
- Assist with HR based onboarding processes of new staff to ensure a timely, consistent, and positive experience for all new employees joining UnitingCare.
- Coach and support leaders and staff on the application of HR based policies, employee benefits and employment terms and conditions (Contract and Enterprise Agreements).
- Prepare and process formal correspondence for employees or external bodies, including but not limited to Parental Leave, Statements of Service, Novated Lease approvals and confirmations of employment.
- Manage and support the maintenance of employee files and Workday records, including the sourcing of existing documents where required.
What makes a difference for us?
- Have obtained or working towards Tertiary qualifications in HR is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar role providing HR advice to employees or leaders with the ability to demonstrate experience in a customer service role in a large and/or complex organisation.
