We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Executive Assistant – Chief Executive Officer to join our team!
What You Will Do:
As the Executive Assistant – Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-level executive and administrative support, ensuring the CEO’s day-to-day operations run seamlessly. Your role will involve everything from high-level scheduling to strategic research and document management, all while representing the CEO’s professional image with excellence.
This role offers a chance to make a real impact in a high-level executive environment and contribute to the strategic success of the organisation.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven ability to coordinate senior executive schedules while effectively prioritising and managing administrative tasks in a busy, high demand environment.
Previous experience providing executive support at a senior management level, preferably in local government.
Demonstrated advanced skills in the operation of computer applications including MS Office suite and in-house date bases supporting the preparation of reports, agendas, minutes, memoranda and correspondence
Knowledge and understanding of legislation and policy applicable to Local Government and Councils operations including systems, reporting and accountability in a public sector agency.
Demonstrated experience dealing with highly sensitive and strictly confidential matters, and the ability to demonstrate diplomacy and discretion ensuring the highest level of confidentiality is maintained.
Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, communication or equivalent; or relevant experience.
